Caramels by Marie A.


1 lb. butter
2 lb. brown sugar
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2 cups light karo syrup

Mix in big pot, bring to boil over medium-low heat.  Once it begins to boil, continue stirring and boil for 22 minutes.  Pour in to greased 9X13, or larger.  Leave until set, several hours or over night.  Cut and wrap in wax or plastic paper.
