Amish Sugar Cookies by Jessica L.


1 cup butter, softened
1 cup canola oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
4 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar

Mix butter, oil and sugar.  Add eggs and vanilla.  Beat 1 minute.  Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add to creamed mixture.  Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.  Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
