Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cookies by Sara W.



1 package Devils Food Cake Mix
2 eggs
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 tsp vanilla
Hershey's Candy Cane Kisses

Beat all ingredients, except Candy Kisses, to form a thick batter. Use cookie scoop to place on cookie sheets.  Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes (depending on the size of your scoop).  Immediately after removing from oven, gently press unwrapped Candy Cane Kiss onto the top of each cookie.

2012 Cookie Exchange

Monster Cookies by Sara W.


Monster Cookies


2 cups brown sugar
1 cups white sugar
3 cups peanut butter
2 sticks butter, softened
6 eggs, well beaten
1/2- 1 Tablespoon vanilla



Cream all ingredients together



9 cups quick oats
4 teaspoons soda
2 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 lbs. M&M's



Mix together dry ingredients and then add to wet ingredients.



Drop dough by 1/4 cup on cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 for 9-11 minutes.

Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup peanut better
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla

In a mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.  Add 1/2 cup of the flour, the sugars, egg, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla.  Beat till thoroughly combined.  Beat in remaining flour.

You can flatten by crisscrossing with a fork if desired.

Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.  Makes about 36 small cookies.

M&M Cookies by Sara W.


2 cups shortening
2 cups sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp vanilla

Blend well

4 cups flour
3 tsp salt
2 tsp soda
1 3/4 cup oatmeal

Mix Well and then add:
1 package chocolate chips (or one bag plain M&M's or half and half)

Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until slightly brown.

Chocolate Mint Cookies by Sara W.

1 package Devils Food cake mix
2 eggs
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 tsp vanilla
Andes Mints (preferable green brown green)

Beat all ingredients together to form a thick batter.  Form into quarter size balls (I use a cookie scoop).  Bake at 375 for 6-8 minutes.  Immediately after removing from oven place unwrapped Andes Mint in the center of cookie and push down gently.  Smother surface with a spoon.  Makes about 4 dozen depending on the size of the cookie

Easy Chocolate Mint Cookies by Sara W.


1 package Devils Food Cake Mix
2 eggs
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 tsp vanilla
Andes Mints (preferably green brown green)

Beat all ingredients together to form a thick batter.  Form into quarter size balls (I use a cookie scoop).  Cook at 375 for 6-8 minutes (depending on the size of your cookie).  Immediately after removing from oven, place unwrapped Andes Mint in center of cookie.  Once mint is melted, smooth surface with a spoon.

Grandma's Peanut Butter Fudge by Sara W.

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow cream
1 1/3 cups Peanut butter

Bring sugar and milk to a boil stirring constantly.  Boil for 3 minutes. 
Add Peanut butter and marshmallow.  Mix well.  Quickly pour into a buttered 8 inch square pan.  Chill until set.  Cut into squares.  Yeilds 3-4 dozen.
